Give Small Gift

Japanese Customers often come to our company. Usually, they only take a box of biscuit as gift. At beginning, I thought Japanese were stingy, only gave a box of biscuit as gift. Later, my view changed.
To give small gift is a good habit.
1, It will not become a burden for the person who give the gift.
Now, the gift, sometimes gift is money, becomes a burden for Chinese. You need to give money gift to friend’s wedding ceremony, friend’s little child and friend’s child passing college entrance examination ceremony. With the economic development, the money gift becomes bigger and bigger. People do not like to get the invitation of wedding ceremony, because it means you need to give money.
2, It needs not give back.
Because the gift is small and cost little, people do not care if you give gift back. You need not always remember this. If the gift cost much, it will change. If you do not give gift back, your friend who give gift to you will complain of you. You also need to give gift back about same cost.
It is a good habit to give small gift. We should try to change the Chinese culture from ourselves.
